Background: In 1966, after completing a mathematics degree from Acadia University, David Huestis joined his uncle in a small brokerage; within a year and a half, he had joined two brokerages of his own and did not stop growing until his insurance group was sold in 2023. While CEO of the Huestis Insurance Group, David was operating over 40 insurance agencies in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. He and Faye are residents of Saint John, New Brunswick and have three children, Paul, Peter, and Jennifer. The Huestis family has a history of volunteerism and involvement in the communities they serve including their church activities, as chairs and members of numerous foundations and organizations, and a special interest in the World Scout Foundation. In April of 2024, the Faye and David Huestis Family Foundation established these awards at 秀色短视频 to support students who otherwise would be unable to attend post-secondary study. It is the family's intention that these awards will offer a transformational opportunity to students that face significant financial barriers and have experienced obstacles and adversity.
