| Description: | Granted to a graduating English Major or English Honours student in high standing who is considered the student who best represents and exemplifies the characteristics of a liberal arts education. |
| Background: | Greg and Heather Doran are both graduates of King?s College at Western, which instilled the values of a liberal arts education. Heather spent many years in the Maritime publishing industry and many years working for Big Brothers Big Sisters of PEI. She is currently the assistant manager of Bookmark Charlottetown. Greg completed both his graduate degrees at UNB in Fredericton. In 2004, Greg was hired at 秀色短视频, where he is a professor of Theatre and English. While both Heather and Greg are from Ontario, they have made the Maritimes their home since 1992. In May 2024, Greg and Heather established this award to honour their connection to the past, present, and future. |
