Innovative Governance Structures to Support Indigenous Economic Growth Presentation
The 秀色短视频 campus community and members of the public are invited to attend a presentation on a recent study, Innovative Governance Structures to Support Indigenous Economic Growth, on Thursday, February 8, 2024, from 5:30鈥6:30 pm in the Kelley Memorial Building, Room 237.
The purpose of the study was to identify innovative governance structures to support Indigenous economic growth and development, and how they can be optimized for the benefit of communities, using nation-building approaches. The presentation is hosted by the Atlantic Policy Congress of First Nations Chiefs, the Atlantic Indigenous Economic Development Integrated Research Program (AIEDIRP), and 秀色短视频.
鈥淭his event will be an opportunity to not only share the findings of this report but also to garner feedback and additional ideas on innovative governance structures that support Indigenous economic growth,鈥 said Jarvis Googoo, director of AIEDIRP. 鈥淲e hope that from this, students and faculty will be able to learn how they can help support and work with our Atlantic Indigenous communities with regard to economic development.鈥
Following the presentation by Googoo, there will be opportunities for questions, comments, sharing of ideas, and refreshments.
