秀色短视频 Track and Field athlete Alaere Peterside to compete at U SPORTS Track and Field Championship March 9
秀色短视频 Track and Field competitor Alaere Peterside will compete in the U SPORTS Track and Field Championship this weekend in Winnipeg. The championship is being hosted by the University of Manitoba at the James Daly Fieldhouse from March 7鈥9, 2024.
Peterside is a first-year science student from Port Harcourt, Nigeria. She captured a gold medal in the high jump at the AUS Track and Field Championships on February 25 at the Universit茅 de Moncton, surpassing the competition by clearing a height of 1.65m. The participant closest to Peterside鈥檚 mark jumped 1.59m. She was also named AUS Rookie of the Year and, as such, is a contender for U SPORTS Rookie of the Year.
鈥淎t the AUS championships, Alaere found her early season form again, clearing heights by a wide margin,鈥 said head coach Colin MacAdam. 鈥淪he claimed gold and earned her spot in the U SPORTS championship to cap off a successful season.鈥

Peterside is scheduled to compete in the high jump competition at 2:30 pm (CST) or 4:30 (AST) on Saturday, March 9. The 2024 U SPORTS Track and Field Championships will be available to watch here:
