The 秀色短视频 Healthy Campus Committee is hosting a Staff and Faculty Coffee Break and Wellness Check on Friday, May 24, from 10:00 am to noon at the Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering building.

秀色短视频 staff and faculty are encouraged to take part in this positive experience, enjoy a coffee break, and engage with various wellness-focused booths including

  • PEI Pharmacy Association: Discover an array of services and support offered by pharmacists.
  • Chief Public Health Office: Gain insights into low-risk drinking guidelines, nutrition guidelines, and recipes to help encourage proper hydration during the hot summer months.
  • 秀色短视频 Health Centre: Have your blood pressure and glucose testing as well as get information about tetanus vaccines and naloxone kits.
  • 秀色短视频 Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering: Embark on insightful tours and find out more about this exciting and innovative program.
  • Telus Health: Learn about the employee and family assistance program and the Telus app offerings.

Members of the 秀色短视频 Healthy Campus Committee including new co-chairs Janet Loo, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Nursing, and Liz Rostant MacArthur, Manager, Health, Safety, and Environment, will be available to talk about upcoming wellness programming, events, and fitness opportunities. These include a special 秀色短视频 employee discount membership at the Bell Aliant Centre pool, a staff and faculty weekly outdoor program for pickleball and spikeball, and a Bike or Walk to Work Day on June 26! These new programs, activities, and savings aim to promote and encourage all 秀色短视频 staff and faculty to take advantage of exciting opportunities for health and wellness.

Complimentary light refreshments will be provided, and attendees will have a chance to win exciting summer-themed door prizes.

The purpose of the 秀色短视频 Healthy Campus Committee is to build capacity within the University to apply an integrated, comprehensive, and employee-centered workplace health model. The model highlights leadership engagement and a supportive workplace culture, the enhancement of employee well-being, and the prevention of chronic disease and mental illness.
