"I have experienced an incredible network of support that goes beyond the ordinary."
What brought you to ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ? Why did you choose to study here?
I'm from Petaling Jaya, Malaysia; it's a dynamic city renowned for its lively atmosphere and a plethora of offerings, including diversity in people, cuisine, and infrastructure. What drew me to ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ was the MBA in Global Leadership's objective of developing skills tailored to navigate the dynamic international business landscape. It is definitely a deliberate step towards a future where success is measured by adaptability and strategic finesse.
What do you find unique and interesting about your program?
The one thing that stands out the most about the MBA in Global Leadership is that fact that my classmates are from all over the world. The person sitting next to me in class is an architect and it's interesting to see how their perspective adds a unique twist to our discussions.
What kinds of support have you received during your time here from ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ students, staff, and faculty members?
I have experienced an incredible network of support that goes beyond the ordinary. My classmates have been like study buddies and friends rolled into one, always ready to guide or offer a helping hand. The staff members have gone above and beyond, ensuring that I have the resources I need and creating a welcoming atmosphere. What truly stands out, though, is the personalized guidance from my professors. One standout experience was with a professor in a course I found particularly challenging due to the technical nature of the course. I found the material daunting, but this professor took the time to patiently explain the concepts, providing guidance even outside of class time. His dedication to ensuring my understanding of the course enabled me to complete the course with pretty good grades (although I did not do very well in the beginning). Dr. Cassidy, if you are reading this, THANK YOU SO MUCH!
What kinds of opportunities have you experienced because you're studying at ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ, or because of the Island location?
Studying at ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ has brought unexpected opportunities through diverse classmates, offering unique perspectives in group assignments. Not to mention, the "challenges" that come with it is also builds character.

What's unique about ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ, and Prince Edward Island, in your experience?
The campus being on a beautiful island like PEI adds a touch of serenity which inspires moments of reflection and making my educational journey not just academically fulfilling but also uplifting.
What would you tell a student considering your program?
It's like the espresso of business education: strong, bold and guaranteed to keep you awake and engaged. Your classmates are like the "Avengers" of diverse professional backgrounds.
What are your general plans after graduation?
Initially, my focus was on advancing my career in business tax consulting. However, the program has broadened my perspective and I am now eyeing diverse leadership roles across industries, seeking opportunities to apply my expertise and make a tangible impact in the corporate world.
