Sessional Instructor - Faculty of Nursing - Winter 2025
The Faculty of Nursing, ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ, has a sessional teaching opportunity in both NURS 2320 Introduction to Pharmacology - Section 2, in the Winter Semester of 2024-2025 academic year. This position is subject to final budgetary approval.

NURS 2320 Introduction to Pharmacology
This course is an introduction to the discipline of pharmacology and the response of the human body to pharmacological agents used to manage disease and promote wellness. The principal objective is to provide an introduction to the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of each major class of drugs used in nursing practice.
Term: January 2, 2025 to May 5, 2025
Salary: $7,154.00 (3 credit course) in accordance with the Collective Agreement between the ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ Board of Governors and The ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ Faculty Association Bargaining Unit #1
Qualifications:
Applicants must have a current registration in good standing with CRNMPEI, a minimum of a nursing master’s degree in a relevant field with at least one degree
in nursing, and at least 3 years’ experience in nursing as per CRNMPEI’s Approval of Nursing Education Programs Policy. Candidates applying will normally have established expertise, and successful leadership and/or teaching experience in a context related to the focus of the course. Previous experience in teaching is an asset.
Preference will be given to qualified candidates with seniority on the Faculty of Nursing’s Sessional Roster, and to those with experience in teaching university level courses.
