Student Research Assistant (Up To 2 Positions) - Department of Sociology and Anthropology - Faculty of Arts
$16.00 per hour, plus 4% vacation pay
ASAP – January 31, 2025
Two undergraduate students are required on a short-term basis for assistance in the preparation of two SSHRC Grants which must be submitted on February 1, 2025. The SSHRC Connections Grant will benefit from assistance from two undergraduate students.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in compiling bibliographies and undertaking basic research on the research project themes Assisting with at least one of the above lab sections for the duration of the semester
- Organize abstracts and other material and budgets for inclusion in the application
- Involved in other application-related tasks as the applications develop
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a current ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ student in good standing
- Strong interest in learning about the different aspects of research
- Excellent work habits
- Attention to detail in tasks such as creating bibliographies
Priority will be given to ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and the Procedures manual.
