Nine (9) Month Term Position - Department of Applied Human Sciences - Faculty of Science
The Department of Applied Human Sciences invites applications for a 9-month term position in Foods & Nutrition. The appointment will be made at the Assistant Professor level. This appointment is subject to final budgetary approval.
The Department of Applied Human Sciences is an innovative, interdisciplinary department that offers undergraduate degrees in Foods & Nutrition and Kinesiology. We offer a number of practical options for students that include an integrated dietetic internship and field placements.
Qualifications:
Applicants must have a Master鈥檚 degree in Foods & Nutrition or related field (doctoral degree preferred). The successful candidate should have teaching experience at the undergraduate level. The department is seeking an individual who can teach broadly in the area of foods and/or nutrition however the ability to teach in other areas will be considered an asset. They should also be able to contribute expertise to students in the dietetic internship program.
