The Department of Facilities Management is looking for up to two students to assist with projects on campus as well as miscellaneous departmental duties.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist completing project management duties, including meeting with clients, gathering information, attending project meetings, job site inspections, etc.
  • Assist in space inventory tasks including auditing buildings and updating data base/spreadsheets
  • Audit campus exterior signage
  • Assist with sustainability and energy management initiatives on campus within various buildings that would include audits, tracking energy consumption
  • Assist with the BOMA Best certification process
  • Data entry
  • Filing
  • Assist with updating department policies and procedures
  • Other duties as required
     

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preference would be given to students with an engineering or science background
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel

Priority will be given to ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and the Procedures manual.
