The Department of Chemistry is seeking applicants for a Research Assistant.

 

RESPONSIBITLIES:

The Research Assistants responsibilities will be:

  • Coordination and implementation of research projects
  • Working towards future funding opportunities
  • Drafting reports, correspondence and tracking research progress according to project timelines
  • Aiding in manuscript creation
  • Performing experiments
  • Data analysis
  • Organization of lab spaces and supplies, ie. inventory. acquiring quotes, ordering supplies

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor of Science or Engineering
  • The candidate must be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong writing and data analysis skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Previous research experience desired
