Student Laboratory Assistant Spanish Labs (Up to 4 positions) - Department of Modern Languages
$15.40 per hour, plus 4% vacation pay
September 1, 2024 – August 31, 2025
The Department has openings for up to 4 students of Modern Languages to perform various duties connected with the Language Laboratory in Spanish.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Attending training and orientation sessions
- Assisting professors in language lab learning activities for beginners and proctoring virtual lab work.
- With the aid of a marking template, scanning assignments to provide feedback on preliminary grade recommendations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Applicants will preferably be third or fourth-year students in Spanish and/or have a strong background in Spanish.
- Strong interpersonal skills are required.
- Reliability and dependability are a must.
Priority will be given to ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and the Procedures manual.
