The 秀色短视频 Board of Governors ratified the new collective agreement with the 秀色短视频 Faculty Association (秀色短视频 FA), Bargaining Unit 1 and Bargaining Unit 2, at a special meeting on Friday, April 14, 2023. The agreement was ratified earlier in the day by the members of 秀色短视频 FA鈥檚 two bargaining units, which represent faculty members, sessional instructors, librarians, clinical nursing instructors, and clinical veterinary professionals at 秀色短视频.

Elijah Miller and Brinten Comeau named 秀色短视频 Athletes of the Year
秀色短视频鈥檚 Department of Athletics and Recreation celebrated the 2022鈥�23 season at the annual 秀色短视频 Panther Celebration鈥擜thletic Awards Gala on Thursday, March 30, recognizing outstanding student-athletes who have excelled in sport, the classroom, and the community.
This year, the 秀色短视频 Alumni Association鈥檚 Outstanding Female Athlete of the Year award went to Brinten Comeau of the 秀色短视频 Women鈥檚 Rugby team. The Male Athlete of the Year is Elijah Miller of the 秀色短视频 Men鈥檚 Basketball team.

秀色短视频 and CUPE 1870 ratify three-year agreement
The 秀色短视频鈥檚 Board of Governors and members of Local 1870 of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE 1870) have approved the three-year tentative agreement that was reached with the assistance of a third-party conciliator on March 14, 2023. CUPE 1870 represents approximately 345 support and administrative employees at 秀色短视频.

PEI health system capacity study being commissioned to integrate 秀色短视频 medical students
The 秀色短视频 and Health PEI are inviting consultants to submit proposals to assess and analyze PEI鈥檚 health system capacity to integrate medical learners from the 秀色短视频鈥檚 Faculty of Medicine. The new Faculty, which was announced in October 2021, will be offering a joint doctor of medicine degree with partner Memorial University.
秀色短视频 graduate student receives funding for breast cancer research
Miranda Steeves, a Master of Science student at the 秀色短视频, is working on breast cancer research, with assistance from the (BHCRI).
Steeves is a trainee in the Institute鈥檚 cancer research training program (CRTP), with $11,900 in funding provided by the 鈥檚 (CCS) J.D. Irving, Limited (JDI)鈥擡xcellence in Cancer Research Fund.
Premier and ministers receive update about 秀色短视频 Faculty of Medicine
Premier Dennis King, Health and Wellness Minister Ernie Hudson, and Education and Lifelong Learning Minister Natalie Jameson visited the construction site of the University鈥檚 new health education building and health and wellness clinic on February 3, accompanied by 秀色短视频 President and Vice-Chancellor Greg Keefe and other University officials.
