We encourage students, faculty, and staff who may need documents or links located on myÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ to plan ahead and bookmark or download the resources they may need during this period.

On June 5, 2024, ITSS will launch Microsoft Teams as the new standard communications platform for everyone at ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ. We encourage you to visit the M365 Project Overview section of the ITSS website at for more information and updates.

Marie Pascal, tenure-track candidate for the Department of Modern Languages, will give a research presentation titled "Le sublime abject dans la transcréation" on May 27, 2024, from 2:30-3:30 pm, SDU Main Building 211.
The ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ Campus Food Bank remains open in the summer, thanks to the generosity of our volunteers. Are you able to donate one hour to welcome students and help them choose healthy food items from the shelves? Please to offer an hour. Be sure to check back as the weeks pass as availability and needs sometimes change.

Are you interested in applying for grant funding to support students in course-based work-integrated learning projects or placements? is currently seeking applications through their for Fall 2024. Applications for this funding round are due on June 14, 2024. ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ's Experiential Education department has submitted nine successful applications across past rounds of funding and would love to support new projects.
Please email Shannon at smsnow@upei.ca with a few sentences about what course(s) you're teaching this fall and any ideas for submission(s), and they will reach out to schedule a call and discuss next steps.
Research Ethics Board (REB) applications involving "more than minimal risk" must be reviewed by the full ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ REB. The next deadline for submitting these protocols is Friday, May 31, 2024, for review at the June meeting.
Other ethics protocol submissions, including new applications that do not involve more than minimal risk, renewals, and amendments, may be submitted at any time. They will be sent for delegated review as soon as all necessary materials are received.
All research compliance applications, including for the REB, must be submitted through the ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ Researcher Portal (). Instructions for using the site are available at /research-services/forms.
Please contact the Compliance Coordinator at researchcompliance@upei.ca for more information about the Researcher Portal, or the REB application, review, and approval process.
The next deadline for submitting biosafety applications, including new applications, renewals, and/or amendments, is Friday, May 31, 2024. These applications will be reviewed at the June 20 meeting.
All research compliance applications, including biosafety application forms, must be submitted through the ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ Researcher Portal. Information about the Researcher Portal, including instructions for using the site, is available at /research-services/forms.

Registration is now open for ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ Summer Studios 2024, a five-day chamber music experience for motivated young brass, woodwind, percussion, and piano students aged 14-18, taking place Tuesday, July 2, to Saturday, July 6 in the ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ Steel Building. Students participate in private lessons, small ensembles, workshops, masterclasses, and performances under the guidance of our world-class faculty. The days run from 9 am to 3 pm; participants will need to bring a lunch.

Join us at a celebratory reception to recognize and thank Dr. Keefe! All are welcome! Light refreshments will be served.
