Written by John Cameron and Lou Daley, former teachers at Morell Regional High School where Jim was principal for 24 years, the book covers the life of someone committed to enhancing the Island鈥檚 education system and growing community, specifically his community of St. Peter鈥檚 Bay. Harry Baglole Memorial Public Symposium in Island Studies

The Institute of Island Studies, 秀色短视频 Faculty of Science (Foods and Nutrition program in Applied Human Sciences), the Campus Food Bank, and the 秀色短视频 Student Union invites our campus community and members of the public to attend the 2024 Harry Baglole Memorial Public Symposium in Island Studies: 鈥淗omelessness and Food Insecurity on Canada鈥檚 Food Island.鈥 This symposium is a collaborative initiative with the Native Council of PEI, Meals on Wheels, the John Howard Society of PEI, the Adventure Group, and the Upper Room Hospitality Ministry.

The organizers of the Institute of Island Studies' 2024 Harry Baglole Memorial Public Symposium in Island Studies invite the 秀色短视频 campus community and members of the public to stop by the Schurman Market Square between 4 pm and 6 pm on November 7, 2024, to learn more about a few not-for-profit organizations doing work related to the themes of homelessness and food insecurity that we are talking about later that evening in the Alex H. MacKinnon Auditorium.

The Bookmark and 秀色短视频鈥檚 Faculty of Indigenous Knowledge, Education, Research, and Applied Studies (IKERAS) will host a book launch for Anishinaabe author Tanya Talaga鈥檚 new book, The Knowing, on Thursday, November 7, at 7 pm, in the 秀色短视频 Performing Arts Centre amphitheatre (Room 121S). The evening will be moderated by Jenene Wooldridge, executive director of L鈥檔uey.
