Island Lecture Series and book launch for "Finding Home at the Harbour"
The Island Lecture Series, presented by the Institute of Island Studies, will celebrate the launch of Finding Home at the Harbour by Barbara Palmer Rousseau. Weaving natural history with her own story and illustrations, Rousseau highlights the resilience of the Island and its inhabitants to ongoing environmental change in this collection of illustrated essays published by Island Studies Press. The lecture and launch will be held from 7-8:30 pm in the Faculty Lounge, SDU Main Building Room 201, 秀色短视频.

秀色短视频 nursing professor leads study on accessibility of gender-affirming health care on PEI/Epekwitk
Dr. Margie Burns, an assistant professor in the 秀色短视频 Faculty of Nursing, is leading a research study about the experiences of Two-Spirit, transgender, gender-diverse, and non-binary (2STGD+) people seeking and accessing gender-affirming health care on PEI/Epekwitk.
Burns has received a Partnership Engage Grant of $24,959 from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council for the study.

I grew up in rural northern Alberta. My university studies brought me to Lethbridge, Vancouver, and Montr茅al. Calgary was my home before joining the Music Department at 秀色短视频 in the fall of 2019.

The Mount Continuing Care Community is a wonderful place that provides quality care and support for seniors. They are all about creating a warm and friendly environment for their residents and guests.
The Mount is located very close to 秀色短视频 at 141 Mount Edward Road. There is a trail that connects the 秀色短视频 campus and the Mount. For this event, we will meet on campus and walk as a group to the Mount.

As the 秀色短视频 Women鈥檚 Hockey Panthers head into the 2024鈥25 season, they are driven and determined to reclaim their playoff spot and show that they are a force to be reckoned in Atlantic University Sport (AUS).
After missing the playoffs for the first time since 2015鈥16, the team is out to prove that last season was nothing more than a blip on the radar and that they are motivated to flip the script.
