Apply for a residence extension - after your last exam
Students living in residence may request an extension to stay after their final exam past the initial 24 hours that they are expected to vacate.

Apply to stay in residence during/over the December holiday period
Residence closes 24 hours after the last scheduled exam and does not open until the day before classes start in January. Access to your building and room is suspended. For the 2024鈥�2025 academic year, residences close on December 20, 2024 and do not open until January 5, 2025.
The dining hall is closed during the December holiday. The last meal in 2024 is breakfast on December 20, and the first meal of 2025 is dinner on January 5.
Students who require housing during this time can apply to stay on campus. There is a cost of $225. There will be Residence Life Advisors (RLAs) on duty. All terms and conditions of your Residence Life Agreement remain in place.
