To prepare and provide comprehensive instructional programs at both undergraduate and graduate levels. These programs are conducted primarily, but not exclusively, within the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
To promote enhancement of teaching and the development of life-long learning skills through the exploration and validation of innovative methods of instruction.
To develop and implement competitive programs in basic and applied research that are recognized and respected by external colleagues within respective disciplines (including human medical research), extramural funding agencies, and appropriate national and international scientific organizations.
To prepare and provide instructional programs for professional, governmental, industrial, and commodity groups requiring continuing education in areas addressed by Departmental expertise.
